We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 primary schools, adapted primary school, Nyköping Gymnasium, adapted upper secondary school, and adult education at Campus Nyköping. Nyköping is growing, and our school organization is developing in line with the municipality. We are now looking for teachers for Nyköping High School Alpha.

Our Organization

The F-9 operations include 17 primary schools and adapted schools, distributed across seven principal areas. Each area has a principal, deputy principals, and student health teams. With schools both in urban and rural areas, we work for increased equity, integration, and high quality in municipal schools.

In recent years, we have developed our systematic quality work and a common language-developing approach. Each school has scheduled time for conferences, development work, and collaboration.

About Nyköping High School Alpha

Nyköping High School Alpha has approximately 450-500 students. Alpha has a school library, student health services, and modern special classrooms for subjects such as natural sciences, home economics, music, and crafts. Here, students meet qualified teachers, good learning environments, and a diversity of experiences and backgrounds.

We work to ensure that every student feels seen, acknowledged, and involved. Teaching is adapted to students' needs, and we place great importance on safety and our shared values. Together, we create a school where everyone is welcome and equally valuable.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of a work team and together with other teachers and team mentors, you will be responsible for your students and work to ensure safety and good goal fulfillment, and you are expected to share the tasks that follow from this.

We are organized in work teams where teachers together with team mentors are responsible for about 3-6 classes in the same grade and about 75-150 students. Each work team has its home base where students have most of their teaching, their locker, and where teachers have their workroom. This is the student's safe belonging during their high school years, and this foundational idea is also an important hub in the organization of Nyköping High School.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a teaching license with qualifications in art. You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability and willingness to implement the curriculum's goals in your work. You have good social skills and create good relationships with your students, based on an understanding of how different life conditions impact children's and youth's learning. You are a teacher who challenges and stimulates students to develop, and you have a strong belief in the power of collaborative work. You are solution-focused and flexible in your work, and together with your colleagues, you seek the best possible ways to reach all students through an inclusive approach.
