We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 primary schools, adapted primary school, Nyköping High School, adapted upper secondary school, and adult education at Campus Nyköping. Nyköping is growing, and our school organization is developing in line with the municipality. We are now looking for a Teacher 7-9 in NO/TK for Nyköping High School Omega.

Our organization

The F-9 operations include 17 primary schools and adapted schools, distributed across seven principal areas. Each area has a principal, assistant principals, and student health teams. With schools both in urban and rural areas, we work for increased equity, integration, and high quality in municipal schools. In recent years, we have developed our systematic quality work and a common language development approach. Each school has scheduled time for conferences, development work, and collaboration.

About Nyköping High School Omega

Omega is a suitably sized high school with 430 fantastic students. We have a high qualification rate and a high teacher density. We have a competent student health team and class mentors who work with students' social needs and are the link between home and school. We have specialized classrooms in all subjects and a staffed school library.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The position in NO/TK is based on teaching in one or two grade levels (7-9). Together with the other NO/TK teachers, you form the subject group in these subjects. The positions do not include mentorship as the main responsibility for, e.g., contact with guardians lies with the class mentor. The work team is responsible for its students and works to ensure safety and good goal fulfillment and is expected to share the tasks that follow from this.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a teaching license with qualifications in the subjects NO/TK. You are a clear subject-competent leader who is good at building relationships with students and colleagues. Your teaching is language-developing and structured to support our youth to become democratic citizens.

As of December 1, 2013, a teaching license requirement applies for permanent employment. The license must be attached to the application.
