We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 primary schools, adapted primary school, Nyköping High School, adapted upper secondary school, and adult education at Campus Nyköping.

Nyköping is developing, construction is booming, more people are choosing to move here, and our school organization is growing. We are now looking for three Primary Teachers for After-School Care for the principal area C, Bryngelstorpsskolan.

Our Organization

The F-9 operations include 17 primary schools and adapted schools, distributed across seven principal areas. Each area has a principal, assistant principals, and student health teams. With schools both in urban and rural areas, we work for increased equity, integration, and high quality in municipal schools.

In recent years, we have developed our systematic quality work and a common language development approach. Each school has scheduled time for conferences, development work, and collaboration.

About the Principal Area

In area C, there are four schools: Bryngelstorpskolan, Rosenkälla, Stenkulla, and Sjösa school. Rosenkulla school consists of the school buildings Stenkulla and Rosenkälla. Area C has about 700 students from kindergarten to grade 6. In total, approximately 150 people work in the school area.

We have a unique location with proximity to nature, school forests, and at the same time close to the municipality's major gathering points such as Rosvalla sports arena, city library, and swimming pool.

We work together with the children's best interests in focus. By having a structured approach with student health teams and other adults around the child, we focus on safety, which contributes to knowledge.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team to develop the pedagogical work around our students in after-school care. As a primary teacher, you will be responsible for the pedagogical work together with others in the after-school team. Based on the central content of the curriculum, you will create a meaningful, creative, and inspiring after-school program and use knowledge in playful, creative, and language-developing methods.

We want our operations to be characterized by a positive outlook, and we have a strong belief in children's competencies. You will collaborate with guardians, preschool teachers, teachers, student health teams, and school management to provide students with a good education. You will document in various ways your own and the department's pedagogical work and results.

During school hours, you may teach a subject you are qualified in, or you may support students during lessons, breaks, in changing rooms, and in the cafeteria. We distribute various responsibilities among us, which may mean that you are responsible for and lead break activities, meal councils, student councils, or be part of, for example, the school's safety team.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are an educated and licensed primary teacher for after-school care.

You are a clear leader in the student group, flexible, and have a positive view of students. You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate the goals of the curriculum into your work. You are engaged, attentive, creative, and courageous. You have good knowledge of playful, creative, and language-developing methods and see the importance of building good relationships.

As of December 1, 2013, a license requirement applies for permanent employment. Please attach your license to your application.
