In Trosa municipality, we are committed to ensuring that our children and students get the best possible start in life. From the first encounter with the preschool world, all the way through preschool class, primary school, and after-school care, our staff does their utmost to ensure that every child and student receives the challenges and support needed to achieve their dreams and goals. Skärlagskolan is located in central Trosa, close to forests and beautiful nature. We are an F-6 school with after-school care and approximately 430 students. The municipality's adapted primary school is part of the school's operations.

We have a newly built school with creative facilities. Skärlagskolan is a school where there is a high level of engagement among the staff. We have a high percentage of certified teachers.

The school has a student health team that includes special teachers, school nurses, counselors, school psychologists, and school management. We have after-school staff linked to the classes, special teachers, SVA teachers, and study guides, all to meet the students' needs.

In your role with us, you will support the students' development and learning in school. An important task is to create inspiring and challenging learning environments for the students during their school day.

Along with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the content and work to promote each child's development and learning. Your responsibility includes creating good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

We place great importance on your ability to collaborate with all colleagues at the school. The educators work closely together throughout the students' entire school day with us. It is important that you contribute your experience, knowledge, and creative abilities in various ways for the development of the students and the organization.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You have:

• Teacher training with authorization in crafts
• Authorization to teach art is an advantage
• Pedagogical awareness and knowledge to interpret and concretize the goals of the curriculum

We want you to be able to use your experiences and competencies to contribute to an exciting, stimulating educational environment where the student is the focus. We expect a professional approach to students and parents in various forums.

You have a positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach, always with the student's best interests in mind.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have a good ability to collaborate, be attentive, and easily empathize with other people's perspectives. You need to be secure in yourself, stable, and have good self-awareness. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances in the organization. You have a good understanding of how children absorb knowledge and the different conditions for learning.
