Engaged resource person (assistant/supporter) for a 4-year-old child with type 1 diabetes in preschool.

You will follow the child throughout the day, monitor blood sugar levels, manage food intake and insulin, and respond in emergency situations.

Previous experience with type 1 diabetes is an advantage but not a requirement. Training will be provided by the child's educators and guardians.

The requirement is that you are a responsible, trustworthy person with an interest in childcare. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you are familiar with Waldorf education and have an interest in and curiosity about anthroposophy, which is the foundation of Solbacken's pedagogical approach.

Solbacken always operates with a 6-month probationary period. The employment lasts for as long as the child is enrolled in preschool.
