As a systems engineer for landing gear and hydraulic systems at Saab Aeronautics, you will be part of General Systems – a section that develops and integrates core basic aircraft systems in Gripen and other future platforms. Here, you will work in a technology-driven team where collaboration, expertise, and trust are fundamental values. You will have a varied everyday life where new cases come in daily. Some are resolved quickly, while others grow into larger projects that extend over a longer period. The role combines technical analysis, supplier contact, and project management, making you an important link between production, suppliers, and users. Your work will include:

• System development and design with a focus on functionality within landing gear and hydraulic systems
• Requirements management and reporting related to customer and regulatory requirements
• Implementation of system safety work
• Verification, validation, and testing in simulators, rigs, ground, and flight tests
• Investigation of incoming cases and dialogue with users to understand the nature of the problems
• Independently drive and coordinate cases and act as project manager
• Documentation, report preparation, and handling of approvals
• Regular contact with suppliers and feedback on production-related issues

• A university degree or master's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
• At least 1 year of work experience in a relevant field
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
