ABOUT THE POSITION:

Our client is a global defense and security company operating in air, land, and naval defense, civil security, and commercial aviation technology. Technically, they are leaders in many areas, and one-fifth of their revenue goes to research and development. We are looking for a systems engineer with a focus on mechanical systems for an exciting assignment in advanced product development. You will be part of a department that works with systems engineering, where function, requirements management, and verification are at the center. The role is a combination of systems and apparatus engineering work, where you will help define how different mechanical systems work together.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your job responsibilities will include:

• Working with requirements management and ensuring that requirements are verified through review or testing.
• Participating in the entire process from requirements analysis to verification of the system's function.
• Focusing on mechanical subsystems, mostly passive components.
• Participating in product verification, including practical testing in outdoor environments.
• Collaborating with various technical areas and contributing to the understanding of how subsystems interact with each other.
• The position may occasionally involve travel to other sites in the country, primarily for testing.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Has experience in systems work within mechanics.
• Has a post-secondary education in, for example, mechanical engineering, aerospace/aeronautical engineering, or similar.
• Has a good general technical understanding of mechanical systems.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written forms.
• Is communicative, enjoys working with other people, and collaborates across different technical areas.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
