Your Role

Our unit handles some of our most complex tasks. We specify systems, break down specifications into requirements, follow up on verification, and ensure requirement compliance. As a systems engineer with us, you will collaborate with colleagues in varied team constellations.

As part of a structured transformation towards an agile way of working, we prioritize highest value first, ensure a functioning core early on, and continuously calibrate the target picture. You will become a key person in realizing this way of working.

We are looking for someone who combines a holistic perspective with technical depth, who methodically immerses themselves in our systems and explains how they should function to the right stakeholders. The role spans several technical areas with broad contact surfaces throughout the organization.

You will become a key team player who, together with the team, creates world-class products.

Your Profile

We are looking for you with:

• A Master of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent
• Several years of experience (3+ years) in systems work within software, mechanics, or electronics
• Experience in system architecture including requirements management
• Experience with lean/agile working methods in cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate the system's function and architecture to various stakeholders
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Merits:

• Experience in verification/validation and traceability from requirements to test
• Experience with MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering)
• Domain knowledge within safety-critical or defense-related systems

The position requires that you undergo and pass security clearance according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
