Hallins Verkstäder has been developing methods for material processing, quality control, and delivery assurance for over 100 years. The company is the largest and most experienced supplier of equipment for restaurants and large kitchens in the Nordic region.
The company specializes in stainless steel, aluminum, and steel, manufacturing and developing a wide range of its own products, primarily for restaurants and large kitchens. They also have extensive system production with full responsibility. Sheet metal processing in stainless steel and aluminum is at the core of their expertise, but they undertake all types of qualified assignments with very strict requirements on, for example, finish, hygiene, and tightness. Your ResponsibilitiesAs a production engineer at Hallins, you will work closely with daily production and support the business in customer orders and projects. The production is characterized by variation and customization, which places demands on structure and a clear working method in each assignment.
A central part of the role is to contribute to improved project management and more cohesive working methods in production. You will work on developing clearer routines, increasing the degree of standardization, and creating a common thread between product development, preparation, and production. The role combines operational work with more analytical tasks, including economic assessments and analyses related to production economics, such as calculations and cost optimization.
Preparation and production support in customized projects
Work with project management, routines, and standardization in production
Preparation of documentation for quotes, calculations, and decisions on purchasing or in-house manufacturing
Setting and monitoring production times, methods, and working practices
Working in Monitor and handling drawings and technical documentation
We are looking for someone with experience in production engineering within the manufacturing industry, preferably with a focus on sheet metal processing, and who is comfortable in a role where you are expected to take responsibility and create structure. You work methodically, communicate clearly, and have the ability to drive issues forward.
You thrive in an environment where everything is not predefined and see the value in building long-term routines and sustainable working methods. You have a practical understanding of production and can balance operational work with improvement and standardization efforts.
Experience in production technology, preparation, or similar tasks
Understanding of production flows and economic knowledge within production economics
Experience with business systems, preferably Monitor, and familiarity with reading drawings
Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English
