Your Responsibilities

Do you want to be part of developing the sustainable energy solutions of the future? At Siemens Energy AB in Finspång, you will have the opportunity to work in an open and dynamic work environment where both professional and personal development is at the center. They are now looking for a power engineer to the service group responsible for modernization and upgrade projects for steam and gas turbines. The work primarily focuses on control and monitoring equipment, and you will be part of our electrical design department where ten power engineers currently work with modifications and upgrades (Mod&Ups).

As a systems engineer, you will participate in project teams, be responsible for electrical design and documentation, attend customer meetings, conduct site visits, and provide technical support during installations. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to development projects and shape solutions that make energy solutions more cost-effective and sustainable.

Main Responsibilities

• Be responsible for electrical design in projects regarding quality, schedule, and cost

• Develop and update technical documentation when replacing existing control systems

• Update and revise drawings in CAD systems AutoCAD and COMOS

• Prepare instructions and documentation for dismantling existing systems and installing new systems

• Participate in customer meetings and manage related project documentation

• Conduct site visits and inventories at facilities

• Provide technical support remotely and/or on-site during installation and commissioning

• Participate in development projects as needed

Your Profile

• Experience in electrical design, preferably within control equipment for gas and/or steam turbines

• Good knowledge of CAD tools, especially AutoCAD and COMOS

• Ability to handle international contacts in a professional manner

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written; additional language skills are an advantage

• Structured, solution-oriented, and goal-directed
