For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy sector, we are now looking for an AI Engineer for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector that delivers advanced and sustainable solutions for the current and future needs of the market. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment where development opportunities are abundant. This is initially a consulting assignment for 6 months via Unik Resurs with a very good possibility of extension. We apply ongoing selection, which means that the assignment may be filled earlier than the application deadline.

Responsibilities and Duties

As an Applied AI Engineer, you will work independently or in smaller teams on cross-functional projects. You will analyze business needs, optimize processes, and implement innovative AI/ML solutions that increase efficiency and improve product quality. We are looking for someone who is passionate about driving change through technology and wants to contribute to the development of future engineering systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements related to engineering needs.
Map and understand engineering processes and develop AI pipelines for increased efficiency and improved data quality.
Implement and further develop AI/ML systems and tools.
Support and train end-users in the use of AI/ML solutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is confident in programming and implementing simpler AI/ML solutions in an industrial environment. You have experience integrating LLMs and classification models into technical development processes. We see that you have:

A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience implementing AI pipelines in applied environments.
The ability to translate engineering needs into technical requirements and rapid IT solutions.
Practical experience with industry-standard PLM tools (Product Lifecycle Management) and processes.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
The ability and interest in training and supporting users.
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English (mandatory).
