Your Responsibilities

The SGT 800 fleet is growing, and we are now looking for a Service Application Engineer for Siemens Energy to strengthen the team responsible for preventive maintenance within LTP contracts (Long Term Program). The role provides a comprehensive understanding of both the core engine and auxiliary systems and involves technical responsibility across several disciplines such as control, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanics.

The main task is to develop and customize the technical scope for planned inspections, provide technical support to customers, and act as a link between the customer and the engineering organization. The role involves technical leadership in projects, risk assessment, quotation support, updating product data in systems such as SAP and PLM2020, and back-office support during inspections. Travel occurs to a limited extent (1–5 times per year). You will be part of an international team of 14 people where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mentorship are central.

Main Responsibilities

• Preparation of technical scope for planned inspections for SGT 800 customers with LTP contracts.

• The role involves technical leadership responsibility.

• Responsible for following the process to develop maintenance plans for gas turbines (GT) to ensure the engine's lifespan is adhered to.

• Collaboration with several internal and external interfaces: Service Application Engineer, Sales Manager, Customer Contract Manager, Overhaul PM, and Logistics.

• Travel occurs, approximately 3%.

Your Profile

• High school diploma with a technical interest.

• Good knowledge of MS Office.

• Previous work experience.

• Collaborative and communicative team player with a service mindset, solution-focused, and able to coordinate technical issues.

• Curious and analytical problem solver who thrives in a changing environment and manages stress in a structured way.

Meritorious

• Technical university education (e.g., mechanical engineering) or experience with gas turbines.

• Experience with gas turbines or other technical work.

• Experience in maintenance technology.

• Knowledge of SAP and PLM Team Center.

• Experience in customer support.
