The Detailed Planning Unit

The Detailed Planning Unit consists of 22 dedicated employees in roles such as urban planners, planning engineers, and team leaders. Here, job satisfaction and development are in focus, and we take pride in our strong team spirit, where we support each other and find solutions together. In this unit, we work on developing detailed plans and programs according to the Planning and Building Act.

Your tasks

As an urban planner with us, you will work on varied and exciting projects where you lead and drive detailed plans through the entire process.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading detailed planning projects from start to finish, with overall responsibility for progress, timelines, budget, and quality.

You will coordinate investigations and documentation in areas such as architecture, traffic, and sustainability, as well as produce planning documents that lay the foundation for sustainable and well-designed development.

We work on a project basis, where you lead the work in close collaboration with competent colleagues and work closely with a steering group.

You will have many points of contact and communicate with experts and colleagues within the Urban Development Office, as well as with developers, architects, and citizens.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a degree in physical planning, urban planning, or another relevant field.

We see that you have experience as an urban planner or in similar work within detailed planning or long-term urban and community planning.

We view experience in project management and work in municipal operations positively.

As a person, you are self-driven and proactively push your work forward. You are attentive, communicative, and skilled in collaborating with others.

You are professional in your interactions and strive to provide good service in all situations. You have the ability to create engagement and build trust, which helps both teams and projects to develop.

You see the big picture and have the ability to organize and prioritize your work. Seeing solutions instead of obstacles is a given for you.
