Facility Engineer at Tekniska verken

Do you want to take a key role as a facility engineer in a safe and sustainable biogas production? At Tekniska verken's biogas plant, we convert organic waste into renewable energy that powers buses, vehicles, and drives society forward. Our facilities are an important part of the transition to a more sustainable energy system, and we are now looking for a facility engineer who wants to contribute to ensuring that they operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable requirements.

With us, you will have a strategic and developing role where you combine technical understanding with structure, safety work, and business development. You will work closely with operations, maintenance, and the department manager – but with a clear personal responsibility to create order, compliance, and long-term sustainability in our processes.

With varying tasks, your days will include:

• ensuring that facility documentation is correct, current, and updated according to applicable standards and corporate requirements
• leading and developing work within fire protection and gas safety
• being responsible for permit management and follow-up of regulatory requirements
• coordinating and following up controls, risk assessments, and inspections
• driving and participating in business development, improvement work, and process development
• producing technical documentation for planning, follow-up, and budgeting
• identifying and reporting deficiencies in quality, environment, occupational safety, and food safety
• coordinating suppliers and contractors in connection with projects and maintenance

Are you the one we are looking for? We are looking for someone who is structured, proactive, and enjoys a role where you can create overview and long-term structure. You find it easy to collaborate and communicate with different functions while taking independent responsibility for your areas.

You feel confident working with regulations, documentation, and safety issues and have the ability to combine technical understanding with administrative accuracy.

Experience you bring and share with us:

• University degree, training as a facility engineer, or other education/experience deemed equivalent
• Driver's license (B)
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
