Your Role

We are looking for a knowledgeable and development-oriented industrialization engineer who wants to help us reach new levels in terms of industrialization and an efficient and robust production process. As an Industrialization Engineer, you will have overall technical responsibility for manufacturability and industrialization. The role includes setting requirements for design and preparing for production for a repeatable realization of designs that meet set production goals regarding working environment, quality, customer requirements, and manufacturability. The Industrialization Engineer plays a crucial role between product development and production and is expected to drive relevant processes and activities related to manufacturability and industrialization. You are expected to understand the industrialization process and provide improvement suggestions to optimize the development from prototype to serial production. The role involves working on projects that operate both nationally and internationally, which may involve travel and longer stays in various locations.

Your Profile

We prefer that you have an education in an engineering field that corresponds to the position or equivalent professional experience. You have the ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written form and can absorb and process a lot of information. You have a good ability to read and interpret drawings and technically review them from a manufacturability perspective. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
