About the Position

We are now looking for an experienced HR consultant for a government agency in Stockholm!

In your role as an HR consultant, you will support managers and HR generalists throughout the ARUBA process and provide advice on complex personnel, labor law, and work environment issues. You will also drive change and restructuring efforts, strengthen and support managers in their leadership, and actively work for sustainable organizational solutions.

The position includes the following tasks:

  • Provide advice to managers and HR generalists on employer issues throughout the ARUBA process.
  • Act as a guiding and supportive force in accordance with the agency's employer policy statements, contributing to consensus and uniform practices within the HR area.
  • Be a qualified support in complex personnel and individual cases with labor law, work environment, and organizational dimensions, and contribute to legally sound, well-balanced, and well-founded employer decisions.
  • Have a central and driving role in change and restructuring work, for example during reorganizations, operational changes, and layoffs.
  • Support managers in issues related to leadership, employee engagement, and organizational and social work environment, aiming to prevent ill health and promote sustainable working methods.
  • Contribute to the analysis and follow-up of work environment, personnel data, and HR-related key figures, and propose relevant measures based on identified needs.
  • When necessary, plan, implement, and follow up on information and development initiatives for managers and management teams within the HR and employer area, in collaboration with HR generalists and HR specialists.
  • Coordinate and develop networks with local HR generalists to strengthen them in their role, contribute to more equitable and legally sound practices, and a professional employer role throughout the agency.
  • Collaborate with HR specialists and other relevant functions to ensure cohesive, effective, and high-quality HR support.
  • Identify and escalate cases where there is a serious deviation from proper handling or from the agency's employer policy statements.
  • Perform other HR-related tasks necessary to achieve the organization's goals and create good results.

Assignment Period and Scope:

The position as an HR consultant is a full-time consulting assignment (37.5 hours/week) starting immediately as agreed. The end date for the assignment will be communicated during the recruitment process.

Requirements for the Position:

  • Higher education, such as a degree in human resources or equivalent education, and at least three (3) years of work experience in similar roles. Alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent education and five (5) years of work experience as an HR generalist or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of HR systems (e.g., Heroma, Primula, etc.).
  • Knowledge of recruitment tools (e.g., ReachMee, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of laws and regulations in the HR field.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • Good knowledge of English, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious for the Position:

  • Experience working with and supporting managers.
  • Government experience.
  • Experience in the mentioned tasks above.
