On behalf of the government, the National Property Board of Sweden (SFV) manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a diversity of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, castles and royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.

As employees, we are proud to work for an authority, operate based on the state value framework, and contribute to positive societal development.

In the Property Law unit, we have exciting and interesting tasks with the entire Land Code as our field of work. We are a great team of about 20 employees who help each other and benefit from our different competencies primarily in general and special property law, urban development, and property economics. We are centrally located in Stockholm and at some other SFV offices across the country. The unit supports SFV's managers and property areas with property legal issues and is responsible for the authority's disposals and acquisitions. We represent SFV in property law matters in court and also monitor the rental market, handle planning referrals, and coordinate external infrastructure projects.

Your main tasks are to conduct purchases and sales of real estate on behalf of SFV. The role also includes conducting property legal investigations and managing land survey proceedings as well as contributing to process development.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant university degree with a focus on law.
  • Several years of experience working independently with property legal issues, primarily in property transactions.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish property law regulations.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious:

  • University degree with a focus on economics
  • Good knowledge of property economics
  • Good knowledge of transaction law
  • Experience in land survey issues
  • Experience working in a government agency or larger organization
  • Good knowledge of English

Personal Qualities

We place great importance on your personal qualities. To succeed in the role, you have a structured working method, are results-oriented, and solution-oriented. As a person, you are stable, secure, and collaborative.

How to Apply

To apply for the position, we ask you to attach your CV and answer a number of selection questions based on the requirements profile. In the first selection, we will only consider your CV and your answers to the questions. We wish for you to respond concretely and succinctly, and for there to be a clear connection between your answers and your CV.
