On behalf of our client, we are now looking for a Business Controller who wants to take a key role in an entrepreneurial and expanding company, as the sole Business Controller for the Swedish market.

About the role

As a Business Controller, you will become a central Business Partner – both to the management team and to the CEOs of the Swedish subsidiaries. You will work closely with the business, focusing on driving development, creating insights, and actively contributing to the company's continued growth.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Budget & Forecast - You drive the process, educate the business, and develop working methods and models.

• Business Partner - You work proactively with improvement and development initiatives and create action plans together with the business.

• Acquisitions & Integration Work - You participate in the integration of acquired companies and ensure a stable implementation.

• Closing & Financial Quality Assurance - You act as the link between accounting and operations and are responsible for quality-assuring the closing process.

• Analysis & Reporting - You develop KPIs, follow up on deviations, and ensure analyses that support business decisions.

• Projects - You participate in group-wide projects, such as system implementations and development initiatives.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Strong previous experience from operational controller roles

• A clear pedagogical ability and can adapt communication to the audience

• Proficiency in Excel, BI systems, and a high level of system maturity

• Experience working in companies undergoing change and growth

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Experience from project-intensive operations, construction, contracting, or manufacturing companies.

Location

The position is based at the office in Bromma. Since the business operates in several locations across the country, travel may be required.
