EY has ambitious plans to expand our operations in the financial sector and is now looking for a results-oriented person for our Stockholm office who wants to contribute to the development of our Governance, Risk & Compliance team for Financial Services.
Your role as a consultant in the Governance, Risk & Compliance team
In the role of consultant in our team, you will have the opportunity to work and develop within projects related to the following areas:
- Lead and drive projects related to risk, governance, and compliance.
- Interpret and translate financial regulations into practical and sustainable solutions for clients.
- Work closely with the first, second, and third lines of defense in assignments related to risk, compliance, and governance.
- Develop and improve risk frameworks, processes, and working methods for effective governance and control.
- Contribute to business development through proposal work, offering development, and client dialogue.
You will be part of our local team and collaborate with Nordic and European experts in the field. In this role, you contribute by building strong relationships with clients and actively identifying opportunities to develop our offerings.
Qualifications for the position
- 2–5 years of experience from a consulting firm or financial institutions.
- Experience in governance, risk, or compliance work.
- Competence in project management and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge or interest in relevant regulations within banking or insurance.
- Relevant university degree, for example in economics, engineering, or law.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
