Junior Business Planning Analyst

SJR is now looking for a Junior Business Planning Analyst for our client in Kista, a large international company in the electronics industry. The assignment starts in March and initially lasts for about 12 months with good opportunities for extension. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the business in a dynamic environment with office presence five days a week.

About the position

As a Business Planning Analyst, you will play a central role in our client's planning and finance function. You will work closely with the business and support both strategic planning, financial forecasting, and performance tracking. The role involves a broad analytical responsibility where you develop business plans, create rolling forecasts, and compile reports for senior management. You will work in a dynamic and international environment where careful analysis, business understanding, and proactive improvement work are crucial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze business plans together with cross-functional teams
• Conduct market and competitor analyses to support strategic decisions
• Prepare and update rolling financial forecasts
• Generate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reports
• Identify deviations and provide insights to management
• Create and present reports to senior management
• Conduct market analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and risks

Suitable background

You have an academic degree in economics, finance, or equivalent, as well as experience in business planning, financial analysis, or similar roles. You are proficient in financial models, forecasting, and reporting, and have advanced skills in Excel and financial systems. You are accustomed to working in cross-functional teams and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment. Since you will be working in an international organization, you need to have very good English skills, both spoken and written.

You are analytical, structured, and meticulous, with a strong ability to translate data into clear insights. You communicate clearly and professionally and enjoy a role where you can combine detailed analysis with strategic thinking. You are proactive, responsible, and have an easy time collaborating with different parts of the organization.
