IT Support Technician Wanted in Alingsås

Do you want to work in a service-oriented role where you help users daily with IT-related questions and problems? We are now looking for an engaged and technically interested IT support technician for our client in Alingsås!

About the Assignment

The work mainly consists of helpdesk work in first-line support. You will support users via phone, ticket management systems, and in-person visits. The role involves assisting with orders, answering questions, and handling reports related to IT equipment and IT systems.

Installations, on-site troubleshooting, as well as delivery and management of IT equipment are also part of the job responsibilities.

You will work with:

• First-line support and helpdesk
• PC support (Windows 10 and Windows 11)
• Mac (macOS/OS X)
• Chromebook
• Android phones
• iPhone and iPad
• Printers, copiers, and projectors
• Ticket management systems
• MDM systems
• Directory services (eDirectory and Active Directory)
• Outlook and user support within Microsoft 365
• Patching network outlets
• SCCM and MDT

We Are Looking for You Who

You have a basic IT education or equivalent work experience in IT. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who enjoys helping others, takes initiative, and wants to continue developing in IT support. Furthermore, you have a B driver's license and are fluent in both Swedish and English.

You have good social skills and a professional demeanor in your interactions with users and colleagues. As a person, you are service-oriented, positive, and have a structured and orderly way of working. You have a strong technical interest and enjoy working independently, taking responsibility for your cases and driving them forward in a solution-oriented manner.
