IT Security Specialist for the Defense Industry

Do you want to work with qualified IT and cybersecurity in an organization where your skills truly make a difference? We are now looking for an engaged and analytical IT Security Specialist for a temporary position of about one year in the defense industry. Here, you will play a central role in strengthening and developing the security of our technical solutions and working methods.

About the Role

In this role, you will work both strategically and operationally with information and cybersecurity. You will be an important advisor on security issues and ensure that the technical solutions meet high standards.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop solution patterns and review and verify technical solutions from a security perspective
• Work systematically with risk management in IT security
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Manage incidents and conduct incident investigations

We are looking for someone who has:

• Good knowledge of and practical experience with information/cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, and/or KSF
• The ability to analyze threat landscapes and trends in cybersecurity – and translate these into concrete security measures
• An understanding of IT system design and technical architectures
• Experience in risk management within IT security

Furthermore, you have a very good ability to communicate security risks clearly and convincingly, both in Swedish and English. You can tailor your message to the audience and move effortlessly between technical details and strategic reasoning.

You work analytically and systematically, with a strong problem-solving ability and a solution-oriented approach. You find it easy to break down complex issues and translate them into concrete and actionable measures.

Additionally, you are skilled at building, developing, and maintaining good relationships. You collaborate effectively with different functions and build trust both within your own organization and in external contacts.
