About the position

Perido is now seeking a DevOps Engineer for Shibuya, a Swedish tech company that delivers secure IT solutions with local anchoring. With its expertise in IT operations, cloud, security, and support, they help businesses grow. At Shibuya, you will be part of an organization with high technical competence and a strong collaborative climate. The position is based in Borås, where you are initially expected to be on-site during the training period. Once you are settled in the role, there is the possibility to work remotely up to three days a week.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliveries, driving improvement work, and contributing technical expertise in close collaboration with both colleagues and clients.

Your responsibilities include:

• Proactively ensure agreed deliveries and drive improvement work within DevOps and IT environments
• Coach colleagues and contribute to knowledge transfer within the team
• Test, document, and implement according to established routines
• Plan, maintain, and update Kubernetes and container platforms
• Optimize applications and operational environments
• Participate in client meetings and guide best practices regarding architecture and Kubernetes
• Contribute with time and cost estimates in projects and change work
• Participate in on-call duty as needed
• If necessary, work as SRE on behalf of the client regarding Shibuya's environments

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of work experience in a similar role
• Very good knowledge of Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of Linux and system administration
• Experience in scripting/programming and automation
• Understanding of agile methods and processes
• Documented education in a relevant IT field or equivalent experience
• Swedish citizenship
• Ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written form

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of OpenShift

Scope and start date

Full-time, assignment initially for 6 months via Perido, with the possibility of direct recruitment to Shibuya thereafter. Start as soon as possible.
