Software Developer and Tester in the Automotive Industry

ALTEN continues to grow in Gothenburg, and we are now looking for several engineers in software development and testing for future assignments with our clients in the automotive industry. We are looking for individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills who want to work with the development, integration, and verification of software in complex systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a consultant at ALTEN, you will work in technical development teams focused on software development, testing, and verification of functions and systems within vehicles. The assignments may vary depending on your experience and skills, and may include the development of embedded software, test automation, system integration, or verification of vehicle functions.

You will collaborate closely with system engineers, developers, and test teams to ensure robust solutions and high quality in deliveries.

We believe you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
• Experience in software development or testing/verification
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies and tools:
• C or C++
• DSPACE
• VECTOR CANOE / CANALYZER
• CI/CD and automated testing flows
• MATLAB / SIMULINK
• DOORS or similar requirements management tools

Meritorious

• Experience from the automotive industry
• Swedish spoken and written
• Driving license B or C
