About the Job
We are currently seeking a System Administrator who, from a central level within the City of Gothenburg, will work with the city's service for procurement, supplier, and contract management (ULA). Together with the existing system administrator, you will be responsible for the system administration and development of the system support "Kommers" associated with the service. You will handle ongoing system administration issues and provide support to the city's administrations and companies that utilize the service.
Your role as a System Administrator includes, for example:
- Providing support to local super-users at the city's administrations and companies.
- Developing and maintaining routines, user instructions, and other relevant system documentation.
- Contributing to the creation of an annual management plan for the system support and subsequently executing decided activities.
- Testing and informing about new functionality in connection with system updates.
- Identifying improvement and development proposals and driving these towards the system supplier.
- Conducting training in the system support together with your colleagues.
You will have close collaboration with the ULA service's business developers and system administrators in your daily work. In this role, you will also have many contacts both internally within the Procurement and Purchasing Administration and externally with other administrations/companies within the City of Gothenburg. There will be good opportunities for you to influence working methods in the management phase. Depending on needs, you may also support the administration of other system supports that the unit provides to the city's administrations and companies.
You will belong to the unit "Common Procurement Process and Digital Services," which currently has 12 employees consisting of system administrators, business developers, and process leaders. The unit is responsible, among other things, for delivering digital services within the procurement and purchasing area to the entire City of Gothenburg. In these deliveries, the system supports, together with procurement processes, training, support, etc., constitute central components of the digital services.
About You
We are looking for someone with a few years of experience as a system administrator, or alternatively, you are an experienced system user, for example, in the role of a purchaser, system administrator, or similar. You have knowledge of and experience with procurement and purchasing within the public sector. We also require a university education in, for example, IT, procurement, economics, or equivalent experience that we assess as relevant and equivalent.
It is an asset if you have an understanding of how different procurement systems can support the organization's needs within the procurement area. It is also an asset if you have worked with the system support "Kommers" or have experience with other common systems for procurement, contracts, or supplier management. Furthermore, we consider experience from a larger public organization as an asset.
