Job Description

As a Product Consultant with IT expertise, you contribute to making a difference in people's daily lives by ensuring patient-safe digital solutions in the Assistive Devices Center's product range. You work closely with colleagues on the procurement, implementation, and follow-up of new assistive devices and associated digital services.

You collaborate with various functions within the Västra Götaland Region on issues concerning IT and procurement. The Assistive Devices Collaboration also includes the region's 49 municipalities, where you will engage in dialogue regarding their needs in IT and information security.

You will become part of a team of product consultants with different areas of specialization, working closely together and supporting each other in daily tasks.

Examples of tasks include:

• Ensuring that the product range meets statutory and internal requirements regarding IT and information security, as well as developing and evaluating IT requirements during procurement processes
• Collaborating with suppliers and municipal and regional IT functions regarding requirements, solutions, and development
• Monitoring products and suppliers based on established requirements and handling deviations and complaints
• Conducting environmental scanning within IT and technical solutions for products in the assistive devices sector, as well as supporting and training internal staff in these areas

More about the position

The work is carried out throughout the Västra Götaland Region, which means that travel is part of the job. You will also work with a manager and/or colleagues remotely. The location of the position is in Skövde or Gothenburg.

Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree in IT and several years of experience working with technical systems, digital services, or technical support in large organizations. You are confident in working with requirement setting, follow-up, and IT-related issues in contact with both internal and external parties. Experience with public procurement according to LOU (Act on Public Procurement) and experience with medical devices are considered assets. You have good communication skills in both speech and writing and are accustomed to working with and learning new IT systems. A B-class driver's license is a requirement.
