Your future challenge

As a senior consultant with us, you will have a key role in a long-term research and development project within mission-critical communication systems and 3GPP-based communication. You will be part of a team working at the forefront of technology with the development of test equipment, test methodology, and test environments.

Your focus will be on the integration between vehicles, industrial systems, and future mobile networks, with a special emphasis on mission-critical communication and time-critical applications.

Examples of tasks:

• As part of a team, work on research and development of test equipment, test methodology, and test environments at the forefront of technology for 3GPP-based communication.
• Drive and contribute to further establishment within time-critical communication such as Mission Critical Services/Mission Critical Push-To-Talk (MCX/MCPTT).
• Contribute technically with testing and test method development in ongoing research projects.
• Work with test automation, test execution, and test planning in advanced environments.
• Strengthen our testing operations under GCF (Global Certification Forum).
• Develop test methods and perform testing of user equipment (UE) against specific requirements and KPIs.
• Contribute to testing and test method development of user equipment against selected NCCOM requirements.
• Act as an expert in applications for research grants and be responsible for knowledge transfer to colleagues.

Who are you?

Your qualifications:

• Education: BSc, MSc in electrical engineering or equivalent, preferably with a focus on communication systems.
• Experience: At least 2 years of documented experience from development and/or testing of communication systems, preferably with a focus on connected vehicle systems.
• Programming: Good knowledge of programming and experience of programming languages used for test automation.
• Test Methodology: Deep understanding of test planning, execution, and evaluation.
• Languages: Fluent English in speech and writing, as well as good understanding of Swedish.
• Driver's License: Swedish B driver's license is a requirement.

Meritorious competence:

• Detailed technical knowledge of MCPTT and the 3GPP standard.
• Knowledge in cybersecurity for connected systems.
• Experience of testing and requirement evaluation, preferably against MCPTT KPIs.
• Experience of user equipment testing (User Equipment, UE).
• Experience of test management within various Agile working methods.
• Experience from telecom, automotive, or other industries developing advanced connected systems.
