Senior Technical System Administrator with a focus on Integration and Development

We are Bräcke diakoni, one of Sweden's largest non-profit actors in healthcare and social services.

We exist to make society a little more humane, and we believe that the right IT can free up time and create better conditions for both employees and operations. We are now looking for a senior technical system administrator with a focus on integration and development for our internal IT department in Gothenburg. With us, you will build solutions that truly make a difference – not to optimize clicks or “growth,” but to improve everyday life in healthcare and social services.

Your Role

As a technical system administrator, you will be a key person in our continued digital development and take overall responsibility for our system integrations and technical flows – from planning and requirements to implementation and management. We have already laid the foundation through a technical platform. Now we need you to scale up, structure, and drive the integration work further.

The role combines hands-on technical work with leading and defining requirements. You will build some parts yourself, but you will also work strategically and long-term with structure and direction. You will report to the IT manager and collaborate closely with both the IT team and the management groups of our operations.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating and leading system management groups
  • Planning, driving, and following up on integrations between journal systems, financial systems, and reporting
  • Analyzing and optimizing data and workflows
  • Documenting system changes and developing models for technical flows
  • Driving projects within system integration and automation as well as defining requirements with suppliers
  • Contributing to better user experience and reducing administration
  • Implementing solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Azure Functions

Who We Are Looking For

You are senior, technically confident, and thrive when you can take responsibility for the whole. You enjoy creating order in complexity, making wise trade-offs, and making things work in practice – not just on a whiteboard. At the same time, you can move between technology and operations and are comfortable in dialogue with suppliers, where you drive clear requirements and ensure delivery. You appreciate a work environment with the mandate to prioritize, where you can say no when necessary, and where we build sustainable solutions over time.

Qualifications

  • Experience in system management, integration, automation, and technical project management, or a similar role in a complex organization
  • Familiarity with defining requirements and collaborating with external suppliers
  • You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Driver's license (B) and the ability to travel as needed.

Meritorious

  • Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, T-SQL, C#, and/or M-code (ETL)
  • Linux cron jobs
  • Experience with Azure and/or SharePoint (administration and/or development)
  • Experience with journal systems in healthcare and social services
  • Experience with financial systems
  • Experience using AI as support in development, analysis, or improvement work

Bräcke diakoni – Become Part of Something Bigger

With us, you will:

  • Work in a non-profit organization where IT makes a concrete difference in people's lives
  • Have significant influence over how we build integrations and create smarter flows
  • Experience a workday with clear priorities and a focus on long-term goals – not constant fire-fighting,
  • Engage with committed colleagues and an organization that invests in innovation and digital development,
  • Benefit from collective agreements and an employer that strives for gender balance and values ethnic and cultural diversity.

The role is based at our headquarters in Gothenburg and involves travel to our operations on average 1–2 days per month.

Welcome with your application!
