About the Position

In the role of a software developer, you will work with the core of our HR solutions: the payroll system. Here we handle complex business logic and functions that are critical to our customers' operations. The goal is to build stable, modern systems that simplify everyday life for companies and their employees.

You will be part of a development company where about 30 developers work closely together. There is plenty of support, experience, and technical depth to learn from – an environment where architecture, code quality, and problem-solving are in focus.

We work according to FaST, a working method where teams are assembled based on current features instead of fixed teams. As needs change, so does the team, allowing us to gather the right expertise around a problem and work focused until the task is solved.

At the same time, we have a common technical direction and close collaboration among developers, which ensures that knowledge and responsibility are shared across the organization.

Our technical platform is primarily based on C#/.NET in the backend and React or Aurelia (a bit obscure – we know, and we are working on it) in the frontend. We have a common technical foundation and work according to the same overarching principles, but our systems have also developed over a long time as the product has grown.

This means that we sometimes balance new development with improving existing solutions and architecture. For us, it is a natural part of the work – to continuously simplify, modernize, and improve the systems over time.

You will also have the opportunity to influence how our systems develop technically moving forward.

Are you our new colleague?

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience from working with system or web development. The most important thing for us is not exactly which path you have taken to get here, but that you have a solid technical foundation and a genuine interest in development.

With us, there is room for different strengths. Perhaps you are most passionate about frontend, backend, or something in between. In the long run, we expect you to feel comfortable moving across the entire stack, but you do not need to be a classic “full-stack developer” who does a bit of everything – it is perfectly okay to have a clear focus.

If you have experience with C#/.NET, React, or Aurelia, that is certainly a plus. At the same time, the most important thing is that you are curious and have an easy time getting into new technology. If you have worked with other languages or frameworks, that is not a barrier – for the right person, it is a short journey to learn something new.
