We are looking for an IT support person who, with their expertise, will support and improve the municipality's IT environments with a focus on helping municipal companies and associations. As an IT support consultant, you will provide support for PCs, Windows 10 & 11, patch network outlets, and troubleshoot printers, projectors, copiers, phones, and computers.

You will also engage in dialogue with users, where you are expected to provide support and advice on IT-related issues. In addition, the role includes installation and delivery of IT equipment as well as documentation in the case management system.

• Have previous experience in support/helpdesk or IT-related education.
• Have previously supported IT equipment such as phones, printers, computers & projectors.
• Possess a good understanding of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft-based IT environments (SCCM for example).
• Have previous experience with any case management system and/or directory service (Active Directory/eDirectory).
• Speak and write fluently in Swedish as this language is used in your daily communication with colleagues and customers.
• Hold a B driver's license.

The position is initially a one-year assignment with a chance for extension. You will be employed by Friday and work as a consultant at Alingsås municipality.
