We are looking for a UX designer to join an app development team working on diagnosis-specific applications. This role is suitable for someone with a strong interest in UI, interaction design, and user experience, who wants to work in a cross-functional team where UX is a natural part of the development process. The design work is based on user needs, accessibility, testing, and collaborative discussions.
In this role, you will work user-centered with digital design and create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that are consistent, accessible, and tailored to the target audience. You will build upon existing design systems and brand guidelines and contribute to their further development. You will participate in testing and other research activities, using insights to improve solutions over time.
You will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and designers, presenting and justifying design decisions while iterating solutions based on feedback and test results. You will support the team in design matters and ensure that the design can be clearly translated into development.
This assignment is a temporary reinforcement in app development to meet a short-term need for UX expertise. You have experience and a strong interest in UX/UI, digital design, and accessibility, as well as a good understanding of the difference between visual form and usable interaction. You are curious, driven, self-motivated, and responsible, value collaboration, are communicative, can argue for your design choices, and see feedback and testing as a natural part of the work.
Mandatory Qualifications
To be relevant for this assignment, substantial experience from similar work in the public sector is required.
Experience in UX and/or UI design in collaboration with agile development teams
Experience working in agile teams and understanding agile methodologies
Good knowledge of Figma
Good knowledge of usability, accessibility (WCAG), and design principles
Ability to document, work systematically, and communicate design in a way that supports the development process
It is considered an advantage if you have experience with UX copy or working with text in interfaces, if you have worked with design systems or component-based design, and if you have an understanding of development processes and how design is translated into code.
