We are looking for a senior Embedded Software Engineer for a consulting assignment in autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems. You will be part of an agile team developing an end-to-end service that provides developers with quick and detailed insights into software behavior and performance in vehicles. The work is a key enabler for shorter development cycles and high quality in safety-critical environments.

You will work across the entire software stack with requirements management, embedded development in C++, integration, testing, and deployment. The solution enables flexible access to vehicle data through dynamic data runs and supports experimentation in the development process.

• Collaborate with experts in embedded, cloud, and backend to ensure a sustainable architecture
• Participate in the entire product development cycle – from requirements analysis and concepts to implementation and testing
• Write and review production code in C++ according to safety-critical standards in a Linux environment
• Work in a complex monorepo structure alongside multiple teams and dependencies
• Contribute to forums and discussions that shape the product's technical direction
• Work in a CI/CD environment with high demands on quality, testability, and delivery precision
• Act as a mentor and contribute to the team's technical development

• Several years of experience in embedded C++ development
• Very good knowledge of modern C++
• Experience in a Linux-based development environment
• Experience working in larger monorepos with multiple teams and complex dependencies
• Good understanding of CI/CD processes
• Experience in developing safety-critical systems
• Experience with relevant standards such as ISO 26262, MISRA, or equivalent
• Ability to write performant, testable, and maintainable code
• Familiarity with working in agile teams

• Experience from the automotive industry or similar safety-critical domains
