About the Role
Swedemount is in an expansive phase with strong growth in e-commerce and digital business flows.
We are now looking for a Senior System Administrator who will take overall responsibility for the administration, planning, and coordination of the company's IT environment.
The role is strategically important and entails clear ownership of structure, stability, and further development of the IT landscape. You will work closely with the business and serve as a natural contact point between IT, business, and external suppliers.
The IT department currently consists of four people and is responsible for the entire company's IT delivery, including infrastructure, business systems, user support, projects, and technical development. In this role, you are expected to contribute senior expertise, a holistic perspective, and the ability to prioritize, plan, and drive improvement work.
The position is located at our central warehouse in Sörred, Gothenburg.
Main Responsibilities
- Overall administration, planning, and management of IT infrastructure in Microsoft Azure and internal environments
- Ownership of IT processes, routines, documentation, and compliance
- Planning, prioritization, and follow-up of IT-related projects, changes, and initiatives
- Coordination between IT function, business, and external parties
The role also includes:
- Strategic and administrative lifecycle management of clients, cash systems, printers, phones, and mobile devices
- Responsibility for structure and follow-up of backup, operational reliability, and availability
- Overall responsibility for user administration and escalated 1st–2nd line support
- IT coordination during the establishment, relocation, or change of stores and business environments
- Requirements specification, follow-up, and coordination of external suppliers, partners, and services
Competence Requirements
We are looking for someone with a senior-driven work approach, who takes natural responsibility and thrives in a role where structure, planning, and coordination are central. You have good communication skills and can translate the business's needs into sustainable IT solutions.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in system administration, IT operations, or a similar responsible role
- Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent experience
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Driver's license (B) and access to a car
Desirable Technical Experience:
- Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS, networking, security)
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Intune and modern client management
- Windows Server
- Networking and basic IT security
- Virtualization
Desirable Business Knowledge:
- IT environments within retail or e-commerce
- Experience in IT coordination, supplier management, or process development
- Basic knowledge of automation, scripting, or system integration

The position is a full-time temporary position for one year with a chance of extension. The start date is June 2026 or by agreement. We have collective agreements and other benefits for our employees that we will share more about during an interview.

In Sörred outside Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sqm automated warehouse and office. In Grebbestad on the west coast is also our headquarters and our largest store, which is the largest sports store in the Nordic countries at 14,000 sqm.
Our stores are located throughout Sweden, from north to south, with a growing e-commerce that also extends to the European market. Sportshopen is today one of the larger individual players in Sweden in sales within sports and leisure.
