Viljan Ungbo Umeå is a supported housing facility with 6 places aimed at young people aged 16 to 20 who need housing, social training, or supervision. The service is tailored for young adults who are expected to live independently soon. Here, the youth live in a fully furnished private apartment in an apartment building where staff is available around the clock. Ungbo is centrally located in Umeå, within walking distance to the city center. We work motivationally and aim to meet and talk to all the youth daily. Solo work and sleeping on duty may occur.

As a treatment assistant, you support our residents in their daily lives through conversations, practical support, and structured treatment work. The role involves creating security, building relationships, motivating positive changes, and following up on implementation plans. Documentation and continuous contact with authorities and relatives are also included.

You are relationship-building and have a good ability to establish contact with people in vulnerable situations. You are calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner and enjoy collaborating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs. You are used to documenting in journals and can express yourself well in writing.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Driver's license (B)

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Good computer skills, experience in documentation.

Meritorious:

• Experience from a similar workplace

• Education or ongoing education as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or social pedagogue
