Administrator for Support in Regular Housing

The Social Administration in Järfälla is a place for everyone. We have various, complex operations that work with different things in different ways but with the same core focus: to help, support, and be there for the residents throughout their lives. The Social Administration handles elderly care, disability services, and individual and family care, and we do this together as a whole.

Support in regular housing is the municipality's provider of home care, tasked with offering support and assistance to the elderly. We have fourteen home care units and a night and alarm patrol, with nearly 550 employees, including fifteen unit managers, one deputy area manager, and one area manager. Together, we strive to provide our users with the best possible care and service.

Within support in regular housing, we also have Operational Support, which consists of an economic assistant, two schedule planners, and a quality coordinator. We now also need an administrator who can support the area with various administrative tasks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will support the entire area with various administrative tasks. A large part will be handling invoices, ensuring they are correct and accounted for properly, and in this work, dialogue with unit managers is important. Another part of the job is to manage orders of various kinds, both for the units and for the area as a whole. For larger purchases, research, planning, and structure may be required to do things correctly based on the needs of the operation and municipality-wide routines.

In addition to invoices and orders, it is part of the role to handle other administrative tasks that arise. Among other things, you will support the schedule planner with simpler administrative tasks within scheduling, but it may also involve fault reports, some personnel administration, minutes, or other tasks that come up. The role is new and will be developed and revised based on the needs of the area.

QUALIFICATIONS

To thrive in this role, it is crucial that you enjoy having many different tasks, are self-driven, and can work flexibly. You appreciate collaboration with others and enjoy providing service. Formally, we would like you to:

• Have a high school education and preferably some post-secondary education in administration
• Have previously worked with administration within municipal operations
• Have experience in finance and/or personnel administration
• If you have experience with Raindance and TimeCare, it is highly meritorious

Furthermore, you need to have a good understanding of how routines and established processes affect the work.

Support in regular housing is a dynamic, complex, and at times fast-paced operation. Therefore, you need to have order and clarity in your processes so that you can interrupt to handle something more urgent. You can prioritize and enjoy solving problems and stepping in where needed.
