Your Responsibilities

As an Accounting Economist at MaxGaming, you will have a broad and leading role in the finance team. You will be responsible for the quality of accounting and drive that work forward.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Ongoing accounting
• Year-end closing work
• Responsibility for monthly and quarterly closings
• Annual report according to K3
• VAT reporting (Swedish, Norwegian, German, and British VAT plus OSS reporting)
• Reconciliation of payments via various payment systems
• Quality assurance and support in more complex accounting issues
• Maintenance and quality assurance of systems and updates
• Close collaboration with the company's CFO

This is a role for you who likes accounting but loves systems, data, and structure.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the overall accounting process and who thrives in a data-driven environment where systems are central. You have worked broadly with accounting for about 4-5 years and feel confident in year-end closing, VAT, and the ongoing parts.

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have:

• Very good system understanding and a genuine interest in data-driven working methods
• Experience in year-end closing work and K3
• Curiosity about working with large data sets and integrations between systems
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot complex flows
• Confidence in driving processes forward and ensuring quality

• At least 4-5 years of experience in the entire financial flow
