We are looking for a KMA Coordinator who is passionate about quality, environment, and work environment to Verdis in Järfälla.

Verdis is growing and from April 2026 will be responsible for waste collection in Bromma, with Stockholm Vatten and Avfall as our client and partner. For this assignment, we are now looking for a structured and communicative KMA Coordinator, who will be an important support function in the department regarding investigation, follow-up, and documentation related to quality, environment, and work environment.
About the position
As a KMA Coordinator with us, you work closely with operations. You will ensure good communication with our environmental workers, clients, and other parties to drive and develop long-term and sustainable solutions within quality, environment, and work environment. You will be responsible for investigating and following up on work environment issues, designing risk assessments and action plans, and ensuring that these are complied with according to applicable legislation and internal guidelines. You will also follow up and develop the department's KMA plan and issues related to ISO.
Other tasks:
- Contact and collaboration with clients and employees regarding quality, environment, and work environment issues.
- Follow up on compliance with the sustainability plan and guidelines for anti-corruption.
- Ensure that established routines and instructions are followed and contribute to developing and standardizing them as needed.
- Be involved and provide support in the implementation and follow-up of self-checks at the depot.
- Establish and maintain a chemical inventory and ensure that used chemicals are approved and that current safety data sheets are available.
- Inform and train staff in the safe handling and use of chemicals.
- Participate in workplace introductions, APT, and work environment group meetings with information about routines and working methods within KMA issues.
- Support the organization in obtaining permits and licenses and in the possible handling of hazardous waste.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a couple of years of experience in a similar role and has good knowledge of work environment legislation and regulations.
- Has experience working with risk assessments and developing and following up on action plans.
- Is accustomed to working with key figures, follow-up, and deviation management.
- Has strong administrative skills with good computer and system proficiency as well as good knowledge of Excel.
- Has excellent communication skills in both spoken and written form.
- Has experience in training and developing employees.
- Holds a valid driver's license (B).

Work location: The position is based at our new depot in Veddesta, Järfälla.
Start date: April/May 2026.
