Investigator in State Local Supply
Do you have a strong interest in local supply issues and a desire to contribute to societal development? At the Swedish Agency for Public Management's analysis and forecasting unit, you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise and work on complex issues surrounding the strategic and practical challenges of state local supply.
The unit has approximately 15 employees, of which three work with local supply issues. Our mission is growing, and we therefore want to expand the group with you who have a background in property economics and enjoy strategic local supply issues. In the unit, we make forecasts for the state budget and public finances, and we have a comprehensive responsibility for issues related to state local supply.
Your role and responsibilities
As an investigator in state local supply, you will work in the Analysis and Forecasting unit, which is part of the Outcome and Forecasting department.
Your tasks will involve collecting data on government rental agreements to then analyze and provide information on rental costs and space utilization. Your responsibilities include supporting government agencies and the government, conducting analyses of developments in state local supply, and preparing materials for the annual recalculation of the local cost component in agencies' budget bases.
The position may also involve working partially with forecasts for the state budget and public finances. The forecast is presented in a report four times a year.
Your background and qualifications
We are looking for someone with an engineering degree focused on property economics. You may also have completed a master's program with a focus on property and finance or similar. Additionally, a doctoral degree, knowledge of property law, or strong statistical skills are advantageous.
Experience working with strategic local supply issues is a merit, as is experience in economic analysis.
To succeed in this role, it is important that you can easily summarize and convey information to different target groups and that you communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You are proficient in the Office suite, and it is a merit if you are accustomed to using AI in your work.
Your personal qualities
To thrive and perform well in this role, you need to have strong analytical skills and enjoy solving problems. You are structured and meticulous in your work approach. Additionally, you are socially interested and keep up with developments in the property market. You have good collaboration skills and are used to working both independently and in a team. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
