The Swedish Police Authority is the largest authority in Sweden with approximately 40,700 employees across the country. With us, you have the opportunity to contribute to the Police's mission to increase safety and reduce crime in society.
Police Region North is the largest region in terms of area. The region consists of the four northernmost counties in Sweden and is organized into four police areas: Jämtland, Norrbotten, Västerbotten, and Västernorrland, which together are divided into 12 local police areas. Furthermore, there are three regional units: the operational unit, the intelligence unit, and the investigation unit, a regional office, an HR section, a communications group, and national departments represented in the region to support police operations.
We are now looking for an HR consultant on a temporary basis for our HR section in the north, located in Luleå, Umeå, or Sundsvall.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to an important societal mission by recruiting employees for the Police Authority. The assignment involves independently managing parallel recruitment processes and providing consultative HR support to hiring managers within your area of responsibility. With us, you play an important role in ensuring the quality of our recruitment processes and ensuring that regulations and administrative guidelines are followed. It is essential that we work together as a team to contribute to our shared goals and ongoing development. If necessary, other tasks within the HR area may occur.
Many parts of the work take place in digital environments, and you are expected to have the ability to adopt and use digital tools effectively.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Providing consultative support to hiring managers during the recruitment process
- Independently managing several parallel recruitment processes from requirement profiles and advertising to selection, interviews, reference checks, and associated administration
- Handling administrative tasks such as archiving and the release of public documents
QUALIFICATIONS
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- Relevant post-secondary education, preferably in the HR field or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways that the employer deems relevant
- Experience working with recruitment
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
It is advantageous if you also have:
- Experience working with government recruitment based on merit and competence
- Experience independently and consultatively managing entire recruitment processes in collaboration with managers
- Experience with competency-based interview techniques
- Experience using psychological tests in recruitment
