A Job That Counts!
With us, you contribute to a well-functioning society for the public and businesses.
The Enforcement Agency in Skellefteå is now looking for a driven team player who thrives in an administrative, service-oriented, and decision-making role.
About the Job
As a case officer within enforcement, you primarily work on deciding appropriate measures to regulate debts. To prevent people from falling into severe debt, contact with customers, employers, and other authorities becomes an important part of your work. Your role is to be the neutral party that helps the one who has not been paid and the one who is to pay.
You investigate assets, make decisions on appropriate coercive measures of varying scope and complexity. This means you analyze and assess different types of documentation. You request additional information via phone, email, and letters in contact with various parties. With the support of laws and regulations, you assess the documentation and make decisions. The cases you handle require legal security, speed, and efficiency while maintaining quality. Your work also includes sharing documents. The documents can be applications, enforcement orders, or debt restructuring decisions, among others. Work outside the office may occur.
You will undergo internal training for six months, where practice is combined with theory, and you will also have a mentor who supports you initially. The training includes, among other things, law, communication, and conversation techniques. You will be part of a section that jointly takes responsibility for results, planning, and workload distribution.
Everyone who works at the Enforcement Agency contributes to the fight against crime. Your tasks include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes. As a case officer, you might, for example, alert other authorities that a person is receiving benefits on incorrect grounds. This can result in you contributing to stopping incorrect payments from the welfare system.
About You
As an employee at the Enforcement Agency, you are expected to live up to our employee policy (https://www.kronofogden.se/jobba-hos-oss/medarbetarpolicy). You take initiative, are engaged, and take responsibility for achieving goals. You contribute to the development of the organization and help your colleagues succeed. You meet others with respect, kindness, actively listen to others, and show a positive attitude.
You work result-oriented, show decisiveness, and focus on what needs to be achieved. You are stable and trustworthy in meetings with people in vulnerable situations. You find it easy to communicate and are pedagogical in your interactions with customers. You have an analytical ability that allows you to see connections and find the most effective solution. You adapt to the circumstances and the changes that occur.
Your Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 1 year of work experience in administrative or case-handling work in the last three years
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
- Driver's license for a car with manual transmission and good driving experience
It is desirable that you have relevant work experience in case handling, investigation, or decision-making that affects individuals and businesses. It is also desirable that you have relevant work experience in handling contacts with people in difficult life situations.
