About the position As a Vehicle Economist with us, you will play a central role in creating structure, control, and transparency around our vehicle and machinery fleet. You will be part of an entrepreneurial business environment responsible for approximately 400 vehicles and machinery investments.

We are looking for someone who is curious about how vehicles and assets are used in the business and who wants to help build, develop, and improve processes for managing and monitoring the vehicle fleet.

You will be based in Umeå, alongside parts of the finance department, but will work closely with drivers, operational managers, and business area managers across Sweden. The role involves many points of contact and requires both a desire to understand the business and good collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

In the role of Vehicle Economist, you will work with:

· Administration of investments, financing, and sales of vehicles and machinery

· Ongoing bookkeeping related to vehicles and machinery, including coding, approving supplier invoices, internal invoicing of rent and vehicle costs.

· Management of relocations, fuel cards, and equipment tracking

· Follow-up on inspections, driving bans, and transport permits, as well as communication with relevant operational sites

· Responsibility for the asset register in all companies within the group

· Monthly closing, including overall responsibility for Swoosh Rental AB

· For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to gradually take on greater responsibility in result analysis, budget work, and the preparation of decision-making materials related to vehicles and machinery

Qualifications We are looking for someone who has:

· Post-secondary education in finance, or equivalent relevant work experience

· At least 2–3 years of experience in financial administration or a similar role

· Good system skills and understanding of financial systems (experience with Fortnox is an advantage)

· Very good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel
