We are looking for a financial strategist who wants to take responsibility for our financial management while also being a qualified support to our board. We have just over 50 employees distributed across workplaces throughout Västerbotten. Our operations are operational, contract-driven, and under development. We are now strengthening our organization to ensure long-term sustainability and clear governance.

Your mission

You will be part of the management team and have a strategically important role. You will work with financial administration where you will be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, payments, invoicing, year-end closing, budgeting, and forecasts. You will perform financial monitoring as well as quality assurance of accounting, reconciliations, analyses, reports, and statistics. Your responsibilities will also include:

· Preparing analyses and decision-making materials, e.g., profitability and contract analyses

· Handling loan and testament issues, insurance matters, and financial agreements

· Grant applications and grant administration

· Advising and supporting associations in financial matters

· Streamlining and digitizing financial processes

You will also serve as the organizational secretary for the board. This means coordinating the board's meeting processes, preparing decision-making materials, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on decisions made.

The office team consists of 8 people. The district manager, personnel strategist, and financial strategist together form the management team of EFS Västerbotten. There is also an administrator, a communicator, and three district consultants working on coordinating camps and other events within EFS Västerbotten.

We are looking for someone who has a personal Christian faith and can become a member of the Church of Sweden and has knowledge of EFS. You have…

· An academic degree in economics or equivalent work experience

· Experience in qualified financial work

· A good ability to express yourself in speech and writing

· Are analytical, structured, and independent

· Enjoy a role where you combine analysis, development, and coordination

· Experience working closely with a board or management is an advantage.

The position is a permanent employment, starting with a 6-month probationary period. The employment rate is 100%. The role of organizational secretary is expected to encompass about 15–20% of the position throughout the year. The office of the secretariat is located centrally in Umeå, with some possibility for remote work. Travel is required for the position. Working hours: Trust-based working hours

The employment is governed by the collective agreement between the Employers' Alliance and Vision Ecumenical, with EFS Västerbotten as the employer.
