You will work for an international player in financial services with a strong presence in the Nordic region. The organization is characterized by high professionalism, clear processes, and a strong focus on quality and compliance.

The finance team within Financial Reporting consists of five people and is responsible for accounting and financial reporting for operations in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.

In the role of Financial Controller, you will be part of the Financial Reporting team and work both operationally and strategically to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with applicable regulations (IFRS).

Your primary responsibility will encompass one of the Nordic operations, where you will take clear ownership of the closing and reporting processes.

• Responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Ensuring accurate group reporting according to IFRS
• Analysis and follow-up of results and financial position
• Identifying and suggesting corrections in accordance with applicable accounting principles
• Monitoring of laws, tax, and accounting regulations
• Ongoing dialogue with department heads and support functions in the Nordics

The business is transaction-intensive and relatively complex, which places high demands on accuracy, analytical skills, and the ability to handle complex accounting issues.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills who thrives in a role with both operational responsibility and a strategic perspective. You are confident in your expertise, work in a structured manner, and have a high quality awareness.

• Master's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent education (university, vocational school)
• At least 3 years of experience as an accountant, auditor, or in a similar role
• Good experience in financial analysis as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Good knowledge of current laws, tax, and accounting regulations
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written

• Experience from manufacturing industry
• Experience from international operations

• Numerically strong and confident in analyzing complex data
• Communicative and able to clearly present financial information in a matrix organization
• Detail-oriented and service-minded with a strong sense of detail

This is a consulting assignment via OnePartnerGroup with placement in Umeå. The assignment is full-time with a preferred start in April.
