Job Description

Are you a meticulous and dedicated accounting economist who enjoys varied tasks? Do you want to be part of a dynamic finance department where collaboration and development are key? We are now looking for an accounting economist for our client in Solna for a consulting assignment of approximately nine months starting in early March.

Responsibilities

As an accounting economist, you will be part of a team of seven that handles invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounting. The role is broad and includes both ongoing work, monthly closings, and annual reports.

Your main tasks will include:

• Handling bank payments, reminders, collections, as well as internal and external matters via the ticketing system Jira.
• Reconciliations of bank, accounts receivable, group receivables, and provisions for doubtful debts in connection with monthly closings.
• Bookings of provisions and reporting in the global system Tagetik.
• Reconciliations within self-bill transactions and participation in audits.
• Compilation of annual reports and income tax returns for one of the group's companies.

The role also includes developing and improving work methods and processes, as well as supporting colleagues when needed and being able to handle more than one role within the group.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in finance and approximately 3-10 years of experience.
• Experience in accounting, including work with monthly closings and annual reports.
• Very good knowledge of Excel and an interest in systems and process development.
• The ability to quickly understand the business setup to comprehend and manage its components.
• A flexible and solution-oriented approach as well as good collaboration skills.

Experience working in Jira and Tagetik or similar systems is a plus.
