Part-time substitutes wanted for Ung Fritid in Täby

Do you want to help create safe, meaningful, and joyful environments for young people in Täby?

Ung Fritid is now looking for engaged part-time substitutes who want to contribute to the development of our open activities for children and youth in open youth activities as well as in our short-term supervision.

Ung Fritid and the organization currently have 32 employees. The guiding principles of safety, promotion, diversity, and joy are central. We place great emphasis on being inclusive, and all activities are HBTQI-certified. All operations should be based on the needs of young people, and we strive to provide space for unique ideas and energy. We want to inspire positive encounters in a creative and safe environment. The needs and conditions should guide the planning of the activities.

About the role:

As a part-time substitute with us, you primarily work evenings and weekends, and sometimes as needed on weekdays.

• You drive and develop the open activities together with colleagues, so that it meets the needs of young people.
• You work from a promotional perspective, focusing on what works. Also, with a coaching approach where the influence and participation of visitors are always pursued.
• You strive for a good relationship with everyone we meet, through a good and respectful approach that signals safety and inclusion and has a norm-critical perspective.
• You stimulate the development of visitors and create conditions for a safe, inclusive, and good social environment.
• You are a good role model, have a solution-focused approach, and want to contribute to the development of the activities.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people aged 10-21 in leisure activities, schools, care, or LSS (meritorious but not required).
• Enjoys working flexibly and solution-focused.
• Has the ability to structure their time and drive the activities forward.
• Is confident in meeting both young people and colleagues.
• Has an interest in youth culture, trends, and the living conditions of young people.
• Shares our values and wants to contribute to an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Regarding teamwork, you are reliable, flexible, and proactive.
