The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new, renovating, and expanding, and are now looking for more employees
Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand facilities, and client transport.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a staffing planner, you will work with both short- and long-term planning of personnel for our operational areas in the region. You will be part of the Coordinated Staffing team, where the majority of the workgroup is located at the regional office in Linköping.
The job is suitable for you who are a natural problem solver and are stimulated by social work where long-term relationships are built. You are communicative, service-oriented, and appreciate challenges that drive results.
In your role as a staffing planner, you will work with:
- Continuous contact with core operations and meeting the daily needs of the business
- Working with short and long-term vacancies
- Vacation and training planning
- Forecasting and planning staffing in a quality-assured and efficient manner
- Planning personnel according to laws, routines, and collective agreements
- Proactively working to achieve set goals

We are looking for someone who has:
- High school diploma or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
- Experience in staffing planning/ranking
- Experience with larger personnel and staffing systems, such as Heroma
- Very good knowledge of staffing planning
- Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
- Good knowledge of laws and agreements
- Very good computer skills
It is an advantage if you have:
- Additional education in labor law, human resource management
- Additional education in payroll processing
- Experience working in the public sector
- Experience with state collective agreements
- Experience with Heroma
- Experience in payroll processing
