Business Analyst at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand facilities, and client transport.
The section for operational support and analysis is tasked with developing and managing the client administrative systems for probation, remand, and prison in collaboration with the agency's IT department. The client administrative systems should support client-related work and provide functional system support for users, as well as meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders for quality-assured information.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a business analyst, you will use your experience and knowledge to develop system support and assist employees who use these systems in their work. The job will involve participating in various development assignments where you, together with colleagues, gather and analyze the operational needs and transform these into business requirements, as well as conduct tests to ensure that the system support meets expectations during development and change. The position includes a role as a sub-management leader where you will drive and plan the operational management work (change management, daily operations, and user support) and prioritize the operational work within the framework of the object plan for the area.
The position is located at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's headquarters in Norrköping within the national department for operational content.

We are looking for you who have:
- A university degree in a relevant field, e.g., health sciences or behavioral sciences
- Experience in managing/supporting system support
- Excellent ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
It is advantageous if you have:
- Training in requirements management
- Experience in healthcare work within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
- Experience as a sub-management leader
- Experience in requirement specification
- Experience in training others, individually or in groups
- Experience in driving projects and assignments
- Experience in process mapping
- Good knowledge in the health and medical care field.
