Your Responsibilities

As a Project Controller in the real estate department, you will play a central role in the financial management of larger construction projects. You will work closely with project managers and contribute to monitoring, analysis, and control to ensure that projects are executed according to plan – in terms of time, budget, and in accordance with IFRS. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting project managers in the preparation and follow-up of forecasts (FC), budgets, payment plans, and financial goals

• Being responsible for ongoing financial monitoring of large construction projects

• Ensuring and following up on project milestones and accurate reporting

• Contributing to the development and improvement of routines and practices within project finance

• Preparing analyses and reports for project and management groups

Your Profile

To succeed in the role of Project Controller, we are looking for someone with a solid financial background and experience in project finance within construction or civil engineering projects. You are analytical, communicative, and thrive in a role with many collaborative interfaces. We would like you to have:

• A degree in finance or equivalent documented competence acquired in another way

• Experience as a project controller/project economist in construction or civil engineering projects

• Good understanding of project management and financial monitoring processes

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to present complex information clearly

• Good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with multiple functions

It is a plus if you have:

• Experience with SAP or other major business systems

• Experience working in larger, complex project organizations
