Your Responsibilities

As an Economist at Siemens Energy, you will work broadly within finance and have a central role in the ongoing financial flows within the Real Estate department. You will act as a hub between operations and central finance and contribute to structure, quality, and development in daily work. Your main responsibilities include:

• Ensuring correct postings and payments of supplier invoices

• Ongoing reconciliations between invoices and associated agreements

• Supporting monthly closing by preparing documentation and conducting reconciliations

• Reviewing income statements and balance sheets and following up and analyzing deviations

• Supporting the purchasing process in accordance with applicable guidelines

• Administering purchase requests and purchase orders

• Participating in improvement work and development of financial routines and processes

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a relevant financial background and thrive in a structured and independent role with many points of contact. We hope you meet the following criteria:

• High school diploma in economics or equivalent education

• At least 2-3 years of experience working in a finance department

• Detail-oriented, structured, and accustomed to working independently

• Good knowledge of Excel and preferably experience with SAP

• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is advantageous if you have experience in purchasing and have previously worked with contracts.
