Your Responsibilities
As an Economist at Siemens Energy, you will work broadly within finance and have a central role in the ongoing financial flows within the Real Estate department. You will act as a hub between operations and central finance and contribute to structure, quality, and development in daily work. Your main responsibilities include:
Ensuring correct postings and payments of supplier invoices
Ongoing reconciliations between invoices and associated agreements
Supporting monthly closing by preparing documentation and conducting reconciliations
Reviewing income statements and balance sheets and following up and analyzing deviations
Supporting the purchasing process in accordance with applicable guidelines
Administering purchase requests and purchase orders
Participating in improvement work and development of financial routines and processes
Your Profile
To succeed in this role, we see that you have a relevant financial background and thrive in a structured and independent role with many points of contact. We hope you meet the following criteria:
High school diploma in economics or equivalent education
At least 2-3 years of experience working in a finance department
Detail-oriented, structured, and accustomed to working independently
Good knowledge of Excel and preferably experience with SAP
Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is advantageous if you have experience in purchasing and have previously worked with contracts.
