Visa & Work Permit Consultant

About the Position
As a Visa & Work Permit Consultant, you will act as an expert and advisor to internal business units and delegates on matters related to work visas and permits. You will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring a fast, accurate, and compliant handling of visa and work permit processes for international assignments.
You will be part of a dedicated team of 34 people who daily support our Field Service Engineers with planning, scheduling, visa processes, tax issues, invoicing, administration, and much more. Together, you create the conditions for our projects around the world to run smoothly.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the entire process of applying for and managing visas and work permits for various host countries.
- Ensure that all applications meet the immigration requirements of the respective countries.
- Work proactively to ensure that all documents are ready on time for travel and project starts.
- Communicate any deviations or risks directly to the responsible business units.
- Document and organize the work so that it can be handed over and continue smoothly in case of absence.
- Act as an internal expert in immigration matters and provide support to our delegates and colleagues.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who has:
- Documented experience in administrative work, preferably in a role with many parallel processes.
- The ability to work in a structured manner and maintain order even when the pace is high and conditions change.
- Experience in handling complex, varied tasks and prioritizing effectively.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to independently drive cases to completion.
Preferred:
- Experience with visa, work, or immigration-related processes, but this is not a requirement.
